During my Tuesday morning ride, I was travelling along the road when an oncoming vehicle turned into a driveway ahead of me. The vehicle then began reversing back out onto the road.

Believing the driver would continue reversing into the roadway and wanting to avoid a potential collision without braking heavily, I took evasive action by steering to my left. However, at that moment, the driver suddenly changed direction and the vehicle lurched forward, directly into my path. I passed immediately in front of the vehicle, leaving very little room or time to react and narrowly avoiding a collision.
