Driver Charged

I was riding home on a Sat morning after a group ride. I had to navigate to the 3rd lane to get to a viaduct. Despite checking blind spot and sticking out my right hand, I was hit from the rear. Suffer brain microhemorrhage and injuries to body, arm and legs. Till today, I do not have any memory of the 30+ minute after the accident that day. I relied solely on the video footage to lodge police report and file legal claim against the driver and his insurance.
